Marriage Preparation Retreat

Thank you for your interest in registering for a Marriage Preparation Retreat. Retreats are held three times a year and are open registration, first come - first served. The outline of a typical retreat is viewable at the bottom of this page (Click here). The retreat day is from 8:30 AM to approximately 5 PM; a continental breakfast, snacks and lunch are provided as part of the day. The beautiful, peaceful, reflective grounds of Stella Maris are available for the couples to use through out the day, as is the lake shore area.

Retreat Dates (all Saturdays) for 2010 are as follows:
January 30; May 8 and September 25, 2010
ANY DATE DISPLAYED IS AVAILABLE AND YOU WILL BE REGISTERED. DATES ARE REMOVED ONCE FILLED, SO IF IT'S HERE IT'S AVAILABLE.
*Because we have limited space and are therefore restricted to the number of couples that can attend these sessions, preference will be given to couples from Cayuga or Seneca Counties. Couples who live in other counties wishing to attend a session will be placed on a waiting list. Approximately 3 weeks before the session date, if space is still available, we will begin notifying couples on a first-come, first-served basis (based of the date of the postmark of your application) of space availability. Because we cannot guarantee acceptance to those couples living outside of Cayuga or Seneca Counties, we urge you to seek other available programs.
Registration fee, including lunch, is $100.00

DIRECTIONS: Stella Maris is located at 130 East Genesee Street in the village of Skaneateles. It is just east of the downtown area on the south (lake) side of the street after going up a hill. If you are coming from the east, or from the south up Route 41, it is just down the hill from the intersection of Route 41 and Route 20; it will be on your left just before going downhill into the center of the village. Parking is in the visitor's parking area located just on the grounds at the east drive (the west drive is out only). Walk to the front entrance, located under the portico. (Handicapped? Please discharge a handicapped passenger before parking. Driver handicapped? Please feel free to park along the fence next to the front entrance [if we know you have a special need, we will happily arrange for assistance in entering the Retreat Center]. Inside of Stella Maris an elevator connects all floors and every area within is accessible to wheel chair use.)
From Rochester: Thruway to exit 40, Route 34 to Route 20 east to Skaneateles.
From Syracuse: Route 81 to Lafayette, Route 20 west to Skaneateles.
From the North: Route 34 to Route 20 east to Skaneateles.
From the West: Route 20 east to Skaneateles.
From the East: Route 20 west to Skaneateles.
From the South: Route 34 to Route 20 east to Skaneateles. (Route 41 to Route 20 west to Skaneateles.)

REMINDER: After you have registered from the web site registration form, send your registration check to the Pre-cana team. Be sure to write: "For Pre-Cana on (date)" on the bottom of your check. Send your check for $100.00 (which includes all retreat materials, lunch, snacks during the day and continental breakfast upon arrival) to:
